Daniel Lloyd-Miller is a painter of two faces: toying with motifs of structure in-studio, and representational plein-air paintings outside.
Originally from Vermont, he attended Massart for his bachelors degree in fine art and SAIC for his graduate studies. He has exhibited across multiple states in various solo and group shows and currently operates out of Somerville, MA, painting and teaching at Middlesex Community College and RISD CE.

Scott Ketcham is a prolific and evolving painter with over 30 years of experience. He is a Professor of Visual Arts at Massasoit Community College. He holds a BA
from Williams College and an MFA from Johnson State College. He has been a pupil of William Schultz, Clement Micarrelli, Andrew McMillan, and many others.

Robert P. "Bob" Brodesky, an artist based in the Boston-area, has been painting all his life. He specializes in figurative painting in an expressionistic style, rendered in oils, paint stick or pastels on canvas, paper, and wood. A zine is a small, handmade booklet—part soapbox, part art piece, part rebellion. In this workshop, we’ll make zines for The James that shout, whisper, and scribble about why it matters. You’ll help pull The James out of obscurity and into the hands of new visitors, with a few surprises baked in. Wanna be part of a secret that spreads through Xeroxed paper and punk spirit? Come zine with us.
These five artists began with a common bond: each was a student of Catherine Kehoe at MassArt. In 2019, they decided to stay connected through weekly Zoom meetings. What began as a way to maintain momentum in their painting quickly grew into a space for friendship, encouragement, and the sharing of ideas.
Meet the Juror
Nancy McCarty is a painter who works from observation, imagination, and memory. She is represented by the Larkin Gallery, Provincetown, MA. and shows with Zeuxis, a painters group in NYC. She teaches at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and is co-founder of Black Pond in Rehoboth, MA. Awards include Visiting Artist, Beijing Royal School; residency at Inside Out Museum, Beijing; a St. Botolph Foundation Award; and a Ragdale Foundation Fellowship.
