Jonathan E. Babcock has been a board member since 2024.  He is an educator and lawyer with a strong commitment to community service. He has served on several nonprofit boards, including CAAS, which oversaw Head Start programming and housing assistance for low-income and immigrant families in Cambridge and Somerville. A Norwell native, Jonathan shares, “Growing up in Norwell, the James Library was always a quiet refuge to escape to and find peace in a good book. I look forward to giving back to an institution that was always there for me as a child and young adult.”
