Cara Moretti, MD, MPH, is a physician whose work is shaped by her belief in the healing power of the arts, nature, and spirituality. A Norwell native, she recently returned from California with her family and now enjoys reconnecting with the local landscape from her antique home.
Cara served on the board of Norwell Arts, where she championed arts visibility, led fundraising efforts, and co-created the senior photo tribute celebrating student creativity. Her thoughtful leadership and collaborative spirit now enrich her service to The James.
Her mother’s thesis, Slavery in Scituate, Massachusetts 1673-1790, is proudly housed in The James Library’s collection. “Returning to Norwell has felt like coming full circle,” she says. “Supporting The James honors the past while shaping a vibrant, creative future for our town.”
