The Champlain Trio is a Vermont-based piano trio of Juilliard graduates who, after pursuing musical paths around the country, have all settled in New England.

Since forming, the trio has been dedicated to presenting engaging performances that combine beloved works with lesser-known treasures. Along the way, they filmed a PBS documentary exploring the pandemic’s impact on artists and venues, and they continue to seek projects that connect deeply with audiences.

Most recently, they released their second album, Forgotten Voices, which features piano trios by three remarkable women composers—Alice Verne-Bredt, Mel Bonis, and Charlotte Sohy—whose works have too often been overlooked.
