The James Library & Center for the Arts is pleased to present Off the Beaten Path, an exhibition of oil paintings by Kathleen Dunn.
A resident of the Scituate Harbor Cultural District, Dunn is a longtime advocate for the arts as a member of Mass Creative and a recipient of grants from the Mass Cultural Council. In this exhibition she shares her interpretation of the natural and preserved areas of the South Shore — the marshes, ponds, dunes, and tidal waters she has explored close to home.
The paintings are oil on canvas, created between 2021 and 2026.
