The James Library & Center for the Arts invites the public to a joint author talk and presentation centered on the true-crime account Face to Face with Whitey Bulger: An FBI Agent's Account of Capturing and Debriefing Boston's Most Notorious Gangster.

The program features a detailed conversation between co-authors Rich Teahan, the retired FBI supervisory special agent who led the task force that tracked down Bulger after 16 years on the run, and veteran Boston investigative journalist Bob Ward. Together, they will share behind-the-scenes insights into the complex manhunt, the capture in Santa Monica, and the personal interactions with one of New England's most infamous crime figures.

Following the discussion, the authors will open the floor for an audience Q&A session. Local independent bookstore Buttonwood Books and Toys will be on-site selling copies of the book, which the authors will sign immediately following the presentation.
