Kristen Cabral was raised in Canton, Massachusetts and became interested in her own genealogy 15 years ago. She is a wife and mother of two children, and was fortunate to teach in the public schools (MA and CA) for 17 years, mostly middle school Reading. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, the New England Historic Genealogical Society, and the Sandwich Historical Society (NH).
Genealogy has been an endeavor that has brought her great fulfillment and an occasional tear as she has discovered my ancestors’ hardships, sacrifices, and triumphs. It’s important to her that her boys know who they are; part of this is knowing where they came from, the people who contributed to their genetic makeup. Her goal is to help them connect their past to their present, so that they feel like a part of something greater than themselves. She would like to do the same for you and your family.
Mondays at the James is sponsored by the Cordelia Family Foundation and South Shore Music Circus
